This trip brought us to the Southern provinces of Thailand Surat Thani Cheow Lan Lake in the Khao Sok National Park. Benji visit this place 2 year ago and he told me if we are hunting Jungle Perch (Sebarau Malaysia Name) (Pla Kasoop Thai name) this is the place to visit.. 5 of us Chak, Steven, Winston, Ton and me make our way here and it took us 2 hr plane ride from Singapore to Bangkok, another 1 hr plane ride from BKK to Surat and 1 hr car ride from Surat airport to the Dam and another 1 1/2 hrs boat ride from the dam to our floating hotel..It a long ride take us the whole day to get here.. Fishes caught on this trip Jungle Perch, Snakehead, Cobra Sankehead, Thai Maheer and more...

I must say that's a nice place to visit. Actually there is a similar name place India. It's Surat at Gujarat. However it's a nasty place.
