Qualifier 105 first class long range sportfisher, Our floating hotel for the Accurate 2010 Yellowfin Tuna trip.
Accurate Reels, Calster rod the No 1 outfit for monster Yellowfin Tuna on this trip.

After a great Accurate trip in 2007 with I got my best Yellowfin of 282lb, Chak 310lb and Steven 208lb. We try to plan more but due to work I was finally able to put up a trip again this year with 3 more friends. Anthony, Carman and Pin, their are first time doing this type of trip all their best Yellofin Tuna are below 50lb. I really hope personnel record can be break on this trip. We start off with a 18hrs flight from Singapore to LA and a 2hrs drive from LA to San Deigo. Once we arrived in LA, My old friends president of Accurate TwinDrag Reel Daivd, Doug and Ben will there to pick up and drive us to San Diego. This is my 5th long range trip but the feeling is also the same feel like first. After sign in at the Q-105 office we are ready to board our floating hotel for the next 13 days. The Qualifier 105 is a 105ft by 30ft luxury long-range sportfisher with very experienced Captain and Crews that I know for years. Our target is monster yellowfin tuna in the class of 200 to 300lb, but in this water is also rich in Wahoo, AmbreJack, Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi and of cause Sharks. Many Shark. Our first stop is Hurricane Bank 96hrs or (4 days) boat ride from San Diego than we will fish the Revillagigedo Island buffer zone, how to spend the time? Just eat (Great meals by Chris and Cappy on board chef), sleep and get the tackle ready, fishing for big Yellowfin we need all our great to be in top condition, Accurate Twindrag reel in 30 to 50W, Spectra line in 80 to 130lb, Calstar XXH rods, Ex heavy duty hook and off cause top connection for all knots. So first 4 days of the trip is preparation of tackles.
