Part 2 Thailand freshwater luring.

Clyde caught a catfish while fishing for silver barb.

Clyde was sting by the pectoral spine of this catfish that cause severe pain to his foot lucky through my own experience I learn in the early day fishing Malaysia Kenyir lake the local cut a section of the catfish tail and press it onto the wound. The slime from the catfish tail will neutralise the toxins and the pain is gone within next few min. Lucky this work for both Clyde and me.

Part 1 Thailand freshwater luring.

With all the flood happening in Thailand we decide to make a trip to try out some of the freshwater fishing. Bryan a first timer join us on this trip, weather was not at our side with very strong wind blowing from the start to the end of this trip. Clyde did well with a grand slam of snakehead. (Toman, Haruan, spotted snakehead and cobra snakehead) all 4 species on this trip.

Clyde also had the Korea and Taiwan snakehead under his belt. Great job Clyde. We are planning for another trip soon.........

Part 1 Komodo GT Popping with Ming, Kerwin & Benji.

Benji, Ming & Kerwin ready to check in at Bali airport..

It another yearly event for Ming & Kerwin, Komodo GT popping, this year we brought along Benji to join us. It not a smooth start as our flight from Bali to Komodo was delay for more that 5 hrs and by the time we got into Komodo we are left with only 3 hrs of fishing lost 2 hrs due to the delay from our flight. Our plan was to fish 4 1/2 days to cover the whole area of Komodo National Park. We did well with a total of 51 catches,47 GTs, 2 Cuda, 1 Bluefin and a shark. Great trip with good company and will be back again next year. Enjoy the catch report.

Thailand freshwater luring Part 1

This have been a busy year for me with our shop (AnglersOutfitter) finally settle down in the new location i found some time to start fishing again. This trip Daryl, Will (first trip) Ton and me will be fishing mainly Sebarau as it the raining season. Great trip and lot of fishes caught will be back soon.
