Night luring for Barra Singapore 2010

Tide is nice so together with Jos and Calvin we head off to our Barra ground to hunt for them. Not a bad night with a fews hit. Barra, Grouper and Cuda, will be bad soon when the next good tide.

Haruan (Strip Sankehead) game with Semi frog in Singapore.

Our Toys Semi Frog. Soft rubber cicada surface lure.
Haruan (Strip Snakehead) inhabit some of our local freshwater pond, so armed with Semi Frog (Japanese rubber cicada lure) we head our to hunt for Haruan our local snakehead. Great fun on light line heavy cover game. All Haruan (Strip Snakehead) caught was release, and same go to the frog caught by Calvin. Will be back to try other pond soon.

Night luring in Singapore....

Peacock Bass....

Receiced a call to try some night luring at a local freshwater spot so I got hold of few friends to join the operation..Not bad for a few hours of fishing. Fish caught PeacockBass, Zebra tilapia and a africa catfish.

Night trip off Changi for Barra.

Nice size Barra for a night out in Singapore water.....

Ming, Kerwin and Keith make a night trip out on their boat to hunt for Barra, not bad for few hours of fishing around our Singapore water with each of them caught a Barra. Sizes of their Barra range from 2 to 3 kg.

Day trip off Changi water.

Ming and Kerwin make a day trip on their boat to try some of the spot off Changi and did well with a few Chermin and Grouper. Not bad for a few hours of work.

A visit from our Japanese friend Akira

Freshwater Barra from PNG. There is lot of Crocodiles in water.

Akira a student from Japan save all his money and holiday travel around the world to fish exotic species. He will drop by Singapore once every year to visit us while he was on the way to Kalimantan for Arowana and Snakehead .We wish him good luck and hope to see him in the Japanese Magazine soon or ever become a tester for any leading Japanese brand.
